TAWAU: The High Court here has granted an ad-interim injunction in favour of AuMas Resources Berhad and its wholly owned subsidiary, Wullersdorf Resources Sdn Bhd, in their ongoing legal action against Datuk Lo Fui Ming and Southsea Gold Sdn Bhd.
The decision was made during a virtual hearing of the case today.
In a press statement issued by AuMas, today’s hearing was for the inter partes injunction, but the defendants did not file their affidavits in response to the company’s (AuMas) application.
Despite this, the court proceeded to grant an ad-interim injunction, thereby extending the earlier ex parte injunction granted on May 29, 2025. This interim order shall remain in effect until the disposal of the full inter partes hearing.
The court has fixed the next mention date on June 18. At the next mention, the court is expected to issue directions for the filing of affidavits and the scheduling of the inter partes hearing.
According to the statement, AuMas will continue to take all necessary legal measures to protect its rights and to ensure the safety and environmental compliance of its mining operations.
“Further updates will be provided as the matter progresses,” said the statement.
